About Ian Denney Windows & Doors Ltd
For over 30 years, I have been installing new double-glazed windows and doors as a self-employed window fitter. I started out at just 16 years old by helping out my dad at the weekends. My dad, the man behind Ron Denney Windows & Doors, also had many years supplying and fitting new windows and doors for Orpington and the surrounding areas.
As I was helping him, I began to realise that people didn’t just want to buy brand new windows and doors – they wanted repairs to existing double-glazed windows and doors too! As my dad was always busy on new installations, I decided to get myself a van and start offering a full double glazing repair service. Originally, this worked alongside my dad and his new installation service, but it wasn’t long before I took over them both (especially as dad was starting to semi-retire). Ever since, I have kept myself busy with providing affordable, reliable repairs and installations across Orpington and beyond.
